KS VentFlow - Roof Ventilator
KS Ventflow : Roof Ventilation System that makes comfortable and cooling inside the building. Can be reduced temperature of the air inside up to 6.7 degree celsius. Remove overheated air from roof, increase circulation and ventilation. In case of design the vent on the roof can reduce the maximum temperature of the air inside the factory by 10 to 12 Degree Celsius.
There are 2 types - KS VentFlow600 and KS VentFlow700 can be used with all roof profiles. To be strength with Press Frame for better performance. Have walling sheet and a special flashing (rain protection flashing), not obstructing the wind and preventing rainwater from dripping into the building. Special mesh to protect the bird, mouse, squirrel into the building.

Techniques for ventilation in factories or buildings
There are two types: Active Ventilation and Passive Ventilation
- Active Ventilation: rely on mechanical devices such as Fans and Air Conditioning Systems or rely on thermal device such as Adsorption Chiller to produce air circulation and temperature control of building and factory.
- Passive Ventilation: rely on Natural Convective Circulation devices, use natural forces from wind and temperature differences to exchange air in the building or factory. Controlling the temperature of the air inside the building and factory. Refer to the research of Pannathat and team, studied the temperature distribution within the factory. In case of the vent on roof and non-vent on roof, refer to picture 1. Found that the vent on the roof can reduce the maximum temperature of the air inside the factory by 10 to 12 Degree Celsius, this is because the vent on the roof caused hot air under the roof from the sun's radiation which can flow out through the opening on the roof, refer to picture 2. As a result, cool air can flow through the door or wall and enter the building more, to make bring fresh air in the building or factory. The Passive Ventilation is quite popular for building or large factory because low maintenance, reduce costs and tend to be cheaper than active ventilation.
Passive Ventilation (การระบายอากาศแบบลมธรรมชาติ) จะอาศัยการไหลเวียนของอากาศ โดยลมธรรมชาติ (Natural Convective Circulation) ซึ่งก็คือ “อากาศร้อนจะลอยขึ้นที่สูง และอากาศเย็นจะไหลเข้ามาแทนที่” ทำให้ลดความร้อนลง โดยไม่ต้องใช้พลังงานไฟฟ้า เพื่อทำให้อาคารเย็นเร็วขึ้น นั่นก็คือ ทำให้การไหลเวียนถ่ายเทของอากาศ มีประสิทธิภาพสูงขึ้นกว่าเดิม

In order to improve the efficiency of the passive ventilation system, KS Group has designed and improved roofing system that is the copyright of the company, named KS VentFlow (picture 2). This system uses air vents like the KS VentFlow System rely on Natural Convective Circulation better than other general roof opening.

KS Group, we still improve the efficiency of the passive ventilation system, KS Group has designed and improved roofing system that is the copyright of the company for Roof Ventilation system, named “KS VentFlow” (see picture 2). This system uses air vents like the KS VentFlow System rely on Natural Convective Circulation better than other general roof opening. This system certification by KMUTT confirm higher efficiency in circulation and ventilation inside the building and help ventilate heat outside the building :

หมายเหตุ จากรูป ความเร็วของอากาศบริเวณทางเข้าโรงงาน มีค่าเท่ากับ 0.5 m/s เมื่ออากาศไหลเข้าสู่โรงงานที่ติดอุปกรณ์ KS VentFlow700 ขนาดช่องเปิด 700 มิลลิเมตร ระยะห่าง 15 เมตร ซึ่งมีการระบายอากาศที่ดีกว่าโรงงานต้นแบบ ส่งผลให้ชั้นความร้อนสะสมมีความหนาน้อยกว่าโรงงานต้นแบบ ทำให้อากาศบริเวณด้านหน้าของโรงงานไหลเวียนเข้าสู่บริเวณภายในโรงงานได้ดีขึ้น โดยอากาศจะไหลเวียนภายในโรงงานได้ลดลงเมื่อค่า Heat Flux บริเวณหลังคาสูงขึ้น
